Create an Event in Office 365 Calendar

Create an Event/Meeting, add a room and invite people.

Date: February 4th, 2023

1) Open Outlook, and click on Calendar on the top left of the window.

2) Click on new Meeting(Event)

3) Now fill out the meeting form like you see below. The items are an example of what you would want to add for your own.

From: This is who the email is being sent from. If you happen to manage another email account, besides you own, such as information@, or sales@

Title: Make a title (Subject) of the meeting

Required: Add the names of the people you require to join the meeting.

Optional: If you have people who can optionally attend the meeting, and or select their names.

Start Date and Time: Enter the start date and time of the meeting.

End Date and Time: Enter the end date and time of the meeting.

All Day: If this is an all day even, make sure you select this check box.

Make Recurring: If you want to set up a meeting that happens daily, weekly, monthly, you can click the link, it will open another window asking for details on how to set up the recurring event.

Location: By default, Microsoft will add the Teams Meeting as a location, so the room is booked. If you need to add you own meeting room and it is set up as a resource, you should be able to type the name, it will show up as an option. You will see it is now a required person for the meeting.

Fill out details about the meeting and hit send.

1) Open a web browser and head over to https://outlook.office.com. Click on Calendar on the top left of the window.

2) Click New Event, Event ad start filling out the details.
